Questions and answers

How is the ranking built?
We check up to 20 conditions on each vendor's own website: warm-up, DNS setup, placement tests, inbox replacement, inbox types, sending tools, API and MCP access, pricing transparency and buying terms. Each confirmed condition adds points. Inbox providers are scored on 20 conditions, including 25 points for the cost of a working setup; cold email software on 16, with different weights. Details are on the methodology page.
How does price affect the score?
Software is scored without price. For inbox providers, 25 of 100 points go to the cost of a working setup: 30 inboxes plus warm-up and a sequencer, calculated the same way for everyone. A single list price would mislead, because vendors price per inbox, slot, domain, seat or credit. All prices sit in a separate price table with a link to each pricing page.
Can a vendor pay for a better position?
No. There are no paid placements, sponsored slots, affiliate links or promo codes. A vendor can send a link to a page on its own site that confirms a condition, and we recalculate the score after checking it.
Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or private SMTP inboxes?
Google and Microsoft inboxes run on the same mail systems as most business prospects and cost more per inbox. Private SMTP inboxes are cheaper and scale further, and deliverability depends on how the provider manages IPs and warm-up. Many senders mix types. Compare Google, Microsoft and private SMTP providers.
